Sostice Eve (this is not a sonnet)

If I had a written a sonnet to
put on my blog today it would have
started out like this
I called the sherriff's office to complain
about my noisy neighbor Chainsaw Wayne
 but
I have decided I've written enough sonnets.
I wanted to learn how to write sonnets so I did, wrote many,
shared, had fun doing it. And now on to the next thing.
Today is the last day of spring and it has
been a most magical spring just like spring always is.
Well just like every season is and every day is too!
But anyway, today I feel new.
Maybe it's the solstice energy.
But I think it's because something was resolved.
 Here's the story....
Yesterday, I was sitting out at our peaceful waterfall writing
in my journal and then singing my Sacred Animal Songs
like I do every morning. I love the mornings so much.
Around 6:00 I go out in the woods to my
Sacred Mountain Lion Yoga Circle and do the
5 Tibetan rites that I have been doing for over 20 years.
It's so quiet and peaceful in the mornings here where we live....
UNTIL 10:00  AM

when Chainsaw Wayne starts up
his noise next door. I get all my morning outside
stuff done so that I can be through by 10:00.
Anyway, so I was sitting out there enjoying the
peacefulness when all of a sudden in the middle of
my singing, I couldn't believe it, that horrendous
LOUD truck brought a load of wood to deliver.
This is probably the loudest most annoying sound
I have ever heard in my life. I don't even know what it is exactly...
some kind of crane or sidewinder that picks trees up and
lays them down in their new spot.
I was soooo upset because it was only 8:30 and I should
have had another 1 1/2 hours of peace and quiet.
So I came inside, slammed the door, and turned the Gypsy Kings
on so loud the house shook. This is my escape and the only way
I can deal with the noise and with my anger.
Play Gypsy Kings and dance away all my frustrations.
Then I feel a lot better.

So anyway, I had just noticed the other day that Wayne's big sign
by the Eagle campground for firewood said call or text.
Text, hhhmmm.
So back to the quiet waterfall singing.
The first thing I did was text Wayne Chainsaw and say
"Why is this noise going on so early in the morning? I am
going to have to file a complaint because I just can't
take this loud noise in our quiet woods anymore"
So I called the sherriff and talked to a nice lady
about what steps to take and then she put me on hold.
After being on hold for a few minutes I decided it was
time for me to meet Wayne face to face. He's been my
neighbor for 2 years and we've talked on the phone several
times to work things out about the chainsaw but never
met in person so the time had come.
So I walked up there and knocked on his office door.
We talked and we set some new hours that we're both happy about.
The new hours for chainsawing are weekdays 9-1 and 4-6
with no chainsawing on the week-ends.
And if anything is going to be outside of that schedule
he will text me. And if I'm not going to be home I will text him
and he can chainsaw as much as he wants to
whenever he wants to.
So we worked it out!
Yaye!

Happy Solstice
I Love You
Zoe
